• Be prepared - You can get help with your designs and prepare your file for cutting during BLDG 61 Open Studio hours.
• Watching the Laser Cutter Tool Orientation is required prior to using the laser cutter.
• Materials can be purchased from BLDG 61 or brought from home.  If using your own materials, staff must approve those materials before use.
• There is a limit of 4 laser cutting appointments per person per month, with a maximum of 1 appointment per day. This is to ensure equitable access for all patrons. 
• Currently our 75W Laser cutter is broken, we are working to fix it as soon as possible, but appointments for that laser are not available for the immediate future. 
• There is reduced availability for all our laser cutters due to lower staffing levels. We appreciate your flexibility and understanding. 
• Thursday morning Laser Focus is canceled for November and will move to Tuesday mornings (10 a.m. – noon) starting in December. Some Friday Laser Focus sessions are also canceled: please check our calendar for specifics.
