SUMMARY:STUDIO 24: Chop Shop: Print Garment
DESCRIPTION:In this playful printmaking-focused program\, you are invited 
 to bring in garments from your closet that need a refresh and give them a 
 little artful rejuvenation. You will have the opportunity to try your hand 
 at screen printing\, block printing\, or vinyl transfer. These techniques 
 are well-suited for covering stains or simply adding a little personal 
 flair to your wardrobe.\n\nChop Shop is an invitation to reimagine our 
 wardrobes and empower participants to take agency over the fit\, styling\, 
 and embellishment of their clothing. We’ll upcycle by shopping our own 
 closets with a different focus each program. In this workshop-style class\, 
 we will brainstorm techniques and practice skills to achieve your unique 
 fashion goals. Chop Shop is not a place for your most precious garments\, 
 but instead a place to play with items that aren’t quite right. This is 
 not a carving-based class\, but you are welcome to bring your own stamps or 
 blocks to use. Let’s go chopping!
