Reservoirs of Joy In-Person
Join local artist and musician Michiko Theurer and friends in a participatory musical ceremony to share and celebrate our collective commitments to climate action, in conjunction with the exhibition "Reservoirs" in the Canyon Gallery. The event will draw on One Book One Boulder’s theme of joy as a source of support for personal and collective movement.
During the weeks leading up to this event, attendees are invited to borrow a stone from the Reservoirs exhibition to cultivate a personal commitment to climate action. Attendees are invited to bring these stones back to the gallery for this event, in order to create a musical rainstorm together.
Featuring musical contributions by Michiko Theurer, Liangyeh Tai, Eleanor Zhukenova, and friends.
All are welcome. No musical experience is necessary.
Access the many formats of "The Book of Joy: Lasting Happiness in a Changing World" in our online catalog. One Book One Boulder is generously sponsored by the Boulder Library Foundation.
