Native Plant Winter Sowing In-Person
Get Native Plants the Cheap and Easy Way with Winter Sowing
Want to expand your native plant landscaping but intimidated by the cost? There is an affordable DIY alternative! In this seminar, you will learn the basics of winter sowing -- starting seeds in inexpensive reused and/or reusable containers and leaving them outside to germinate -- and get some hands-on experience with a process so easy even kids can do it. We will focus on native plants (and why you should grow them), but winter sowing tender annuals and vegetables (it works!) will also be discussed. Native plant seeds will also be available to take home.
