Joy in Craftivism: Embroidery Pt. 1 In-Person
Craftivism is a form of social activism traditionally focused on domestic arts such as yarn-boming, cross-stitch and embroidery. Channel your activism to bring yourself joy through embroidery in this two-part workshop. Bring a friend, parent or guardian for collaborative crafting! Attend one or both based on your experience:
- Tuesday, Feb. 28 at Main: Learn 5-6 types of stitches to create your own stitch sampler
- Thursday, March 2 at Carnegie Library for Local History: Choice of design project:
- Embroider individual flags
- Embroider patch (for jeans, backpack, jacket, etc.)
