The Great Indian Novel book discussion group, continues to meet in a hybrid form, via Zoom and with social distancing outdoors . We meet on the second Thursday of the month, between 4:30 and 6pm. The focus of the group is to read books written about the Indian sub-continent, by writers who write in English, using it as an indigenous language. Sometimes we read books translated from other Indian languages into English. It is our aim to understand the culture and history of the region.
