CANCELLED! Space Camp Day 5: Launch of B61-HAB22A*

CANCELLED! Space Camp Day 5: Launch of B61-HAB22A* In-Person

Update: 7/21/22 9:30 a.m. - The launch is cancelled due to weather conditions. Weather conditions?! It's beautiful outside...but not at 60,000 ft. Find out how we make these decisions at 11am, live on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/bldg61. Rescheduled launch date: TBD

This event takes place outside of the Canyon Gallery, north building, Boulder Public Library Main branch. Or watch the Live Stream at: https://www.youtube.com/bldg61

*Event may be rescheduled to the following day for inclimate weather.

And….LIFTOFF! Watch the BLDG 61 Space Camp Team launch this year’s High Altitude Balloon. After launching, spectators can track the entire flight in real time at “aprs.fi” by searching for the call sign “KE0LSE-11”. The team will send up their Arduino flight trackers, and of course a GoPro camera to capture the entire flight. (For a preview of what that looks like, check out this VIDEO of an earlier test flight.)

All materials are provided thanks to the generous sponsorship of the
Boulder Library Foundation and a Cognizant “Making the Future” grant award.
