We invite you to gather online with us for a virtual dinner party and cooking demo. Join Gemma Osiczko and her sous-chef and mother, Giulia Bernardini, founder of Wonderfeast art travel company, in making a specialty from the Italian seaside region of Liguria. Gather as much fresh basil as you care or want, some raw, unsalted nuts of your choice, plenty of extra virgin olive oil, and a generous dash of good salt and let’s make summer come alive in our kitchens. In ten minutes you’ll have a pasta sauce that keeps well in the fridge and in twenty you’ll have dinner on the table. We look forward to cooking with you.
Pasta al Pesto ingredients:
2-6 oz. or 1-3 cups (or more) of fresh basil
2-4 generous handfuls of raw pine nuts or cashews or walnuts
1-4 cups of extra virgin olive oil
good salt (preferably unprocessed but let’s not get too precious, right?)
A box of your favorite brand of pasta - short or long noodles (your choice)"
