Needle felting to connect our story with Mother Earth / Lana Picada para Conectar Nuestra Historia con la Madre Tierra

Gather together to tell our stories through needle felting. We will reflect on our personal and collective stories and how these are connected with Mother Earth cycles.

You are invited to create a meaningful piece of art to share and connect with Mother Earth and the relevance of taking care of our communities and the environment. Presented by Adriana Paola Palacios Luna, Luna Cultura.

This program will be conducted in English and Spanish. Tools include a sharp felting needle and foam block.

Face coverings requested for all attendees over the age of 10. This program is designed for adults and teens.

Space is limited, registration required to allow for social distancing and allotting materials.

The event will be outdoors in the Japanese Garden, Main Library.

En este programa nos reuniremos para contar nuestras historias a través de la Lana picada. Reflexionaremos en nuestra historia personal y colectiva y la forma en que esta se conecta con los ciclos de la Madre Tierra.

Esta clase es una invitación a crear una pieza de arte significativa para compartir y conectar con la Madre Tierra y la relevancia de cuidar de nuestras comunidades y del ambiente. Presentado por Adriana Paola Palacios Luna, Luna Cultura.

Este programa se llevará a cabo en inglés y español. Las herramientas incluyen filosas agujas para lana y un bloque de hule espuma.

Se solicita el uso de cubrebocas a participantes mayores de 10 años. Este programa está diseñado para adultos y adolescentes.

Cupo limitado, registro requerido para permitir el distanciamiento social y asignar materiales.

El evento será al aire libre en "The Japanese Garden" de la Biblioteca Central.
