Conversations in Community with Assétou Xango

Conversations in Community with Assétou Xango Online

It is clear that the United States can never become the Nation we claim to be if we remain unable to speak about the shadows of our histories. Our history, left unchecked, spills into our present and claims the lives of the innocent daily.

In this gathering, you will use the transformative techniques of non-violent communication to engage the most important conversations facing our world today. You will discover yourself and community in news ways, and begin to contribute to a better tomorrow.

Note: You do not need to attend "Anti-Oppression 101" or "Conversations with the Self" to attend this but it does help.

One Book, One Boulder Begins

Boulder Public Library and the Boulder Library Foundation are proud to announce the launch of One Book One Boulder: Read, Engage, Grow. This new program aims to bring Boulder together through the shared experience of reading and discussing the same book. One Book One Boulder 2020 programs offer support for community members in learning, reflecting and engaging on the important topic of racial equity in the City of Boulder and beyond.

Participate in a variety of events, including book discussion groups, workshops, performances and storytimes. Access the many formats of "So, You Want to Talk About Race" in our collections here.

Generously sponsored by the Boulder Library Foundation. All of our online events are an extension of library services; library conduct and policies apply in our online space. Tips on internet safety and privacy.
