Online Go Club for Kids & Teens Online

The Library Go Club has switched to online meetings due to concerns over COVID-19. Club meets Sundays from 2-6 pm as usual, but online. Learn to play the ancient and mysterious board game known as Go. Developed 4000 years ago in China, the rules are so simple they can be taught in a few minutes--but it can take a lifetime to master the game. Ages 5 and up.

Newcomers interested in learning to play should contact Paul at shimari@comcast.net for an introductory video lesson. After that, they can download software to play on the KGS Go Server and join a private room for the Boulder Kids and Teens Go Club. Parents are welcomed and encouraged, especially for younger children who will need a parents help to manage the computer end of things.
