We invite you to join us for the Colorado Sewing Workshop. This free and open workshop is held the first Sunday of every month at Boulder Public Library’s Makerspace BLDG 61. Guests have an opportunity to make a new simple project every month. Each project is designed for people at all skill levels and will feature a new skill, like lining a pouch, surging two fabrics, or adding a zipper. Guests can also bring their mending and sewing projects to get expert advice from local makers and artists.
Our March project will be an infinity scarf made from upcycled t-shirts. All materials are provided but if you don't want a scarf made from random marathon and office retreat shirts, please bring two used adult t-shirts. DO NOT BUY NEW T-SHIRTS.
The Colorado Sewing Workshop is held on the 1st Sunday of every month (except July) from 2:30-5:30 pm in BLDG 61. We start at 2:30 but feel free to drop in anytime before 5 pm.
Registration suggested (so we know how many to expect). Appropriate for ages 10 and up; youth under 13 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
All attendees must fill out our Acknowledgement of Risk and Release Form prior to use of makerspace.
Generously sponsored by the Boulder Library Foundation.
