Canceled - Shop 61: Guided Access
We are sending you this message because you are signed up for a guided practice/shop/tool orientation, or are on the waitlist, at BLDG 61.
In response to recommendations from Boulder County Public Health, and as a safety precaution to protect the community from the spread of the coronavirus, the City of Boulder will close all age well centers, libraries, recreation centers and the Ranger Cottage starting at 3 p.m. today, Friday, March 13. These closures and cancellations are in place until March 29, 2020, as more widespread testing becomes available and we can learn more about the spread of COVID-19.
Flatirons Golf Course, Boulder Reservoir and city parks will remain open for self-directed activities and continue to practice strong sanitation practices. Open Space and Mountain Parks (OSMP) trails also will remain open.
All programs, services and outreach activities are canceled. Please do NOT return any library materials until April 30. All closures will remain in place until March 29, at which time we will reassess the situation. Additional information is available online.
Please check our calendar for future classes. Thank you for understanding.
BLDG 61 will offer access to our woodshop during this time for patrons to work on small woodworking projects or select a topic to learn about in more depth. Instructors will be available for advice and guidance on personal projects. Safety overview and shop rules will be reviewed at the beginning of class, please be prompt. Masks, eye, and ear protection will be provided but you are encouraged to bring your own. Students are responsible for removing their projects from the space after their shop time has concluded.

Carefully review the registration form for what is required. We expect all attendees to respect shop rules and requirements.
