Summer of Discovery: Supercomputers, Climate, and You! In-Person
At the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) we use a room-sized computer to process data and run models that help us understand how the sun, oceans, land, weather, climate, and humans interact with each other. Come learn about high performance computing and then play with our augmented reality and HPC-TV apps, or run a weather forecast on parallelized Raspberry Pis! Presented by Eliott Foust, Virginia Do, & AJ Lauer with NCAR.
To find out more about other activities for youth, teens and adults with the Boulder Public Library’s Summer of Discovery website. Be sure to track your reading and activities to collect your prizes by July 31, 2019. Generously sponsored by the Boulder Library Foundation.
