Mend the World Workshop

BLDG 61, the Sewing Rebellion, and artist Steven Frost launched the Mend the World project in Berlin, September 2018. We are bringing this workshop back to Boulder to activate citizens to take action in improving our communities and initiating conversation around democracy and change. We invite all members of the community to participate in this project dedicated to equity and inclusion. All materials are provided.

This workshop will be held in the Canyon Gallery.

Call-to-Action: hand embroider a message or image on a denim patch provided during this workshop. This should relate to an actionable item you want to see happen to improve something in your community. Connect with neighbors/friends/family and formulate actionable items that you can write out on a postcard provided which will be postmarked and addressed to local representatives and members of congress. We want your voices to be heard.

Registration suggested. Appropriate for all ages; youth under 13 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
