Thursday Cinema Local Filmmakers' Showcase "Mondo Hollywood" (120 min.) In-Person

Directed by Robert Cohen, featuring Margaretta Ramsey, Dale Davis, Jay Sebring, Bbby Beausoliel (1967). Take a trip back to L.A. of the 1960's in this surreal documentary and meet the wild and creative characters from would-be vampire actors to Shriners, celebs, surfers, hairdressers and cross-dressers inhabiting the city in 1966. Robert Carl Cohen, the film's strangely youthful 88 year-old director who fled to Boulder in the 1990s, introduces this rare theatrical presentation of his psychedelic cult classic.  7 p.m. screening preceeded by Film Social-meet the director, dress in your favorite 1960s gear.
