After ten years living in the United States, director Asori Soto went home to Cuba to search for the flavors he misses from his childhood. Cuban Food Stories chronicles Soto’s adventures around the island, from Cuba’s cities to remote regions accessible only by raft, horseback, or swimming, to discover the authentic flavors and stories behind Cuban cuisine and explore an exciting Cuba in a time of change. From the Executive Producers of “Jiro Dreams of Sushi.”
