Tool Orientation: Shopbot CNC

*CLOTHING POLICY APPLIES* You must wear close-toed shoes, no loose clothing, long hair must be safely secured.

Learn a classic digital fabrication tool for cutting large wood, plywood and plastics with our computer-controlled Shopbot.  After attending this session you are eligible to register for Guided Practice sessions to build fluency with the equipment and work on your own projects. *NOTE: Your first guided practice will be a test file provided by BLDG 61 to prove your amazing skills!  Staff will be available to facilitate proper use of equipment and answer questions. Open to ages 14 and up.

***This class is lengthy and includes mandatory video tutorials and completion of a small quiz you'll receive at the registered email address 1 week prior to the class.  Space is limited, please register to confirm your spot.  Registered spots will be held for 10 minutes after the start of the event and then given to waitlist registrants on a first come basis.

All attendees must fill out our Acknowledgement of Risk and Release Form prior to any use of BLDG 61.
