Cinema Program screening "Brakhage"
Directed by Jim Shedden (Canada─1998). Shot in Boulder in 1997, this biographical documentary explores the genius of filmmaker Stan Brakhage, living here at the time with second wife Marilyn Jull and two sons, Anton and Vaughn. Excerpts of Brakhage’s cinema and those of other experimental filmmakers, including George Kuchar, Jonas Mekas, Bruce Elder and others are featured. Music by James Tenney. (75 min.)
