BeeChicas: Meet the Bees and Hold a Drone In-Person
Learn about the library bee hives and meet the bees with the BeeChicas! We'll talk about bee biology, and you'll have a chance to hold a drone. A limited supply of bee suits will be available. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Registration required.
Please wear long sleeves and a hat. No strong scents, perfumes or lotions which may aggravate the bees. Please come dressed for the second part of the workshop to be outdoors.
People with allergies to bee stings are invited to observe from the glass hallway next to Seeds Library Cafe.
This program is part of several Seed to Table events and services at the library that focus on sustainable living. https://boulderlibrary.org/seed-to-table/ Check the BeeChicas' instagram feed and Boulder Library Hives #beeliterate!
