CSED Week: Introduction to 3-D Programming and the Scalable Game Design

CSED Week: Introduction to 3-D Programming and the Scalable Game Design In-Person

Explore the world of 3-D programming using the AgentCubes Online web-based programming environment. This Scalable Game Design Project, funded in part by the National Science Foundation, is designed to introduce students to computational thinking in general and to increase motivation for them to consider computer science and modeling in their academic paths. Students can quickly create complete games – classics like Pacman and Frogger – and then move toward complex game designs and beyond into science modeling. Participants in the workshop will create a game with 3-D shapes ("agents") of their own design, as well as program agent behaviors. For more information, visit: https://www.agentcubesonline.com/ Recommended for ages 8 and up. Registration required.
