The Concert Series Presents: Sensory Friendly Concert with Cantabile

The Concert Series Presents: Sensory Friendly Concert with Cantabile In-Person

Cantabile is delighted to present a Sensory Friendly Concert*, based on the theme of Knowledge and Enlightenment. This concert is inspired entirely by the venue: the Boulder Public Library, a gathering place for community and for literature, philosophy, and knowledge from all spheres of study. This 45 minute program features poetry and texts inspired by great ideas, set to music composed across the centuries. From Gregorian chant to Shakespearean sonnets to music inspired by the Fibonacci sequence, the selections for this concert promise a diverse and extraordinary experience.

Cantabile is an auditioned 45-member choral ensemble in Boulder County, Colorado, dedicated to performing a wide range of music, including classical, jazz, gospel, folk music from many lands, and international works. Our members are volunteers with a wide variety of ages, backgrounds, and musical experiences. We strive to bring our appreciation and love of music to Boulder County and to provide opportunities for both aspiring new professionals and seasoned performers.

*Sensory Friendly performances are geared toward children living with autism and their families--but ALL are invited and welcome.
