SUMMARY:STUDIO 24: Chop Shop: deColourant
DESCRIPTION:Chop Shop is an invitation to reimagine our wardrobes and 
 empower participants to take agency over the fit\, styling\, and 
 embellishment of their clothing. We’ll upcycle by shopping our own 
 closets with a different focus each week.  In this workshop style class\, 
 we will brainstorm techniques and practice skills to achieve your unique 
 fashion goals.  Chop Shop is not a place for your most precious garments\, 
 but instead a place to play with items that aren’t quite right. Let’s 
 go chopping! \n\nBring 1 base garment and your desire to experiment. Your 
 garment needs to be 100% cotton.\n\nWe will use a color removing print 
 paste to add unique designs to our garments. The paste can be applied with 
 brushes\, stencils and small paint bottles to create one of a kind designs. 
 The paste is then activated with heat\, removing the color below! 
 \n\n\n(RE)STUDIO at STUDIO 24\, hosted by Boulder Public Library District\, 
 is an invitation to (RE)use (RE)pair\, and (RE)imagine the things we have 
 around us and materials that are often overlooked. From June-November 
 2026\, join workshops and Open Studios that celebrate creative reuse in 
 many mediums
