STUDIO 24: Chop Shop: Upcycle with Cyanotype In-Person
Chop Shop is an invitation to reimagine our wardrobes and empower participants to take agency over the fit, styling, and embellishment of their clothing. We’ll upcycle by shopping our own closets with a different focus each week. In this workshop style class, we will brainstorm techniques and practice skills to achieve your unique fashion goals. Chop Shop is not a place for your most precious garments, but instead a place to play with items that aren’t quite right. Let’s go chopping!
Bring 1-2 base garments and your desire to experiment. Your garment needs to be 100% cotton.
We will explore different techniques for creating one-of-a-kind cyanotype images on fabric. Part of this workshop will take place outdoors. This workshop requires sunshine, we will reschedule if cloudy or rainy.

This class will be at the STUDIO 24 Makerspace in the NoBo Library. Here are directions and parking information for the NoBo Library. Our Makerspace classes often have long waitlists. We sincerely hope that you can attend, but if you are for some reason unable to, please cancel your registration ASAP so that one of the people on our waiting list can take your place in the class.
