Memory Cafe: Chair Dancing In-Person
Enjoy beginner-friendly movement to great music, allowing participants to let go of expectations and dance for fun. Participants are welcome to dance from a seated position in a chair or standing, and no dance experience is needed. Modifications are always welcome. Reconnect Dance Community believes that dance is for everyBODY, and works with older adults and people with disabilities/chronic illnesses.
Please register ahead of time so we can prepare for everyone attending. Caregivers, kindly register both yourself and the person you will be accompanying.
What is a Memory Cafe?
Memory Cafes are welcoming social gatherings for people living with cognitive changes or dementia at any stage, along with the people who care about them – including family members, friends, and professional caregivers. Cafes provide a time to socialize and participate in meaningful and joyful programming.
Boulder Public Library would like to thank everyone who has generously donated to the Boulder Library Foundation. Your financial support provides funding for library programs, services and facilities that help the people of Boulder develop and grow.
