A Teen Beginner's Guide to Making Your Own Comics In-Person
Learn the basics of creating your own comic from a cartoonist. No drawing experience is needed, anyone can make a comic! The more you practice, the more your skills and confidence will grow. Bring your imagination and get ready to create. All supplies provided.

Al Varela is a cartoonist who's been making comics since they were a little kid. They grew up with comics ranging from Garfield to Calvin & Hobbes, and they would eventually go to school for comics in 2021! Since then, they've created an ongoing webcomic series, self-published a few minicomics, and sold their comics at conventions such as Small Press Expo and Denver Comics and Arts Festival!
