The Boulder Library Gala featuring best-selling author Virginia Evans of "The Correspondent"
Boulder’s signature library fundraising event of 2026 will take over the Main Library’s south building, located at 1001 Arapahoe, and promises an immersive, book-themed experience. Enjoy specially-crafted food and beverages, activities among the stacks, book signing and a program with New York Times best-selling author Virginia Evans of "The Correspondent" (soon to be adapted into a movie starring Jane Fonda!) and lives forever changed by the library. Last year’s sold-out, goal-surpassing event attracted 450 library supporters and netted over $150K for our library’s community programs. This year's goals are even bigger, and all proceeds benefit library innovation, programs and facilities.

For over 50 years, the Boulder Library Foundation has funded a vast array of library offerings and programming, including: BoulderWrites, BPLD Presents, Reading Buddies, Maker-in-Residence, English and Spanish language classes, Summer of Discovery, Book Bike outreach and multicultural programming.
This event requires advance ticket purchasing and is presented by the Boulder Library Foundation, a community partner, not the Boulder Public Library. Look for updates from the event organizer who may update, change, or cancel with little notice.

Weekends & City Holidays: Free parking in library lots and nearby garages (10th & Spruce and 11th & Spruce).
Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–7 p.m.:
• First 90 minutes free.
• Up to 90 more minutes for $1.25/hour.
