BLDG 61: Intro to Hand Tool Woodworking In-Person
Hand tool woodworking expands the possibilities of how you shape wood. We'll explore several types of saws, hand planes, chisels, spokeshaves, mallets, and the tools that support handwork. You'll get to test out a variety of tools and see how they feel in your hands. No experience necessary.

This class will be at the BLDG 61 Woodshop in the Main Library. Here are directions and parking information for the Main Library. Our Makerspace classes often have long waitlists. We sincerely hope that you can attend, but if you are for some reason unable to, please cancel your registration ASAP so that one of the people on our waiting list can take your place in the class. All makerspace patrons are expected to adhere to makerspace and library rules and policies. All users and visitors must agree to and sign the Acknowledgment of Risk and Release Form each visit before entering the space.
