BLDG 61: Laser Cut Block Printing on Fabric In-Person

Explore block printing on fabric at BLDG 61! Learn how to create a digital design for a stamp that we'll then cut on our laser cutters. Laser cutters are a great accessibility tool for creating a wood block. No experience is needed, just bring cotton clothing or fabric and ideas for a stamp to work on.

Print Studio, hosted by the Boulder Public Library, is space for creativity and exploration in all things printmaking from February through May 2026. During this time, artists of all ages and experience are invited to try their hand at a variety of printmaking techniques, including relief printing, screen printing, monoprinting, letterpress, etching, and collagraph. Through workshops, drop-in activities, and Open Studio hours, participants will have the opportunity to learn, experiment, and create through exploration in printmaking.
