MiniDome: Reason for the Seasons In-Person
Step inside a portable mini planetarium dome for an up-close, immersive journey through Earth’s seasonal cycle. A science educator from Fiske Planetarium will guide you through the true reason our planet experiences changing seasons (hint: it's all about tilt, not distance)!
Registration is for children only (Ages 9-11). Adults will need to wait outside the dome during the program. Two identical showtimes are available, please register for only one.
Summer of Discovery 2026

Explore summer events for all ages and sign up for the Summer of Discovery challenge! Track your reading and activities using the Beanstack app or pick up a paper log at any library location. Don’t forget to collect your prizes by August 14, 2026.
