Prairie Rattlesnakes: Guardians of the Grassland In-Person
Join Cameron Young from the Center for Snake Conservation for a night all about rattlesnakes. This presentation follows the fascinating "year in the life" of a rattlesnake, from their winter slumber in communal dens to the high-stakes drama of the summer hunt, combat rituals, and the birth of a new generation. By exploring their complex life cycle and natural history, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of how these incredible predators survive and thrive in the Boulder landscape. Come discover why the rattlesnake is a critical, yet often misunderstood, component of our local ecosystems.
This event is organized by a community partner and hosted by the Boulder Public Library.
Please use the North Side Canyon Entrance if arriving after 6:30 p.m. Parking is available in both the Canyon and Arapahoe lots. To reach the theater from the Arapahoe lot, you can cross the creek using the exterior bridge.
Doors for after hours events typically close 30 minutes after the event starts. This timing is based on the discretion of the event organizer and late admission is not guaranteed.
