STUDIO 24: Screen Printing and Basic Book Binding In-Person

In this workshop we will learn how to make 1 to 2 color screen prints that can be bound into pages of a book or as book covers. Bring scraps, papers with interesting patterns and textures, and old artworks on paper you want to give a new life. Once we have made our screen prints, we will learn basic bookbinding techniques to see your prints in a new format. Books make fun gifts or are a nifty way to display or store prints. This workshop is all levels and folx new to screen printing and book binding are welcome!

 


Print Studio at STUDIO 24, hosted by the Boulder Public Library, is space for creativity and exploration in all things printmaking from February through May 2026. During this time, artists of all ages and experience are invited to try their hand at a variety of printmaking techniques, including relief printing, screen printing, monoprinting, letterpress, etching, and collagraph. Through workshops, drop-in activities, and Open Studio hours, participants will have the opportunity to learn, experiment, and create through exploration in printmaking.

This class will be at the STUDIO 24 Makerspace in the NoBo Library. Here are directions and parking information for the NoBo Library. Our Makerspace classes often have long waitlists. We sincerely hope that you can attend, but if you are for some reason unable to, please cancel your registration ASAP so that one of the people on our waiting list can take your place in the class.
