STUDIO 24: Chop Shop: Pockets In-Person
In honor of Women's History Month we will focus on pockets. Bring a garment (or many) in need of a pocket (or many).
Pocket patterns, fabric, and all sewing tools will be provided.
Chop Shop is an invitation to reimagine our wardrobes and empower participants to take agency over the fit, styling, and embellishment of their clothing. We’ll upcycle by shopping our own closets with a different focus each week. In this workshop style class, we will brainstorm techniques and practice skills to achieve your unique fashion goals. Chop Shop is not a place for your most precious garments, but instead a place to play with items that aren’t quite right. Previous sewing experience is encouraged but not required and bravery can go a long way. Let’s go chopping!
