BLDG 61: Laser Cut Locker Magnets and Keychains

BLDG 61: Laser Cut Locker Magnets and Keychains In-Person

This beginner-friendly class invites you to design and create your very own personalized locker magnet and keychain using the library’s laser cutter. Whether you want to showcase your name, a nickname, or a fun phrase, each student will leave with a custom piece they can proudly display at school or home.

In this workshop, students will be introduced to the basics of laser cutting and digital design in a fun and approachable way — no prior experience required! Using Adobe illustrator, you'll get hands-on experience with creating a custom name design and watch the laser cutter bring it to life.

This class is part of our “Quick Gifts” series which are fun, fast-paced projects you can make and take home in a single session.

All ages are welcome, but participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied and supported by an adult caregiver for the duration of the workshop.
