STUDIO 24: Community Dye Day - Weed your Wardrobe with Sasha Duerr

STUDIO 24: Community Dye Day - Weed your Wardrobe with Sasha Duerr In-Person

“Weed your Wardrobe” and upcycle pre- loved garments and textiles straight from the weeds in your garden. Some of the most invasive plants in your garden can be sources of both color and beauty. We’ll use local, seasonal weeds found commonly in Boulder to create three beautiful natural dye baths to share as a community and help to re-imagine waste- turning weeds in both your garden and your wardrobe- into wonder!

Up-cycled and thrifted fabrics will be available to experiment with and small, lightweight, natural fiber garments and fabrics brought from home, are welcome with permission to dip into the dyes.

Mending, surface design, and resist dyeing techniques will also have drop in tables for even more creativity in caring and refreshing your textiles!

This is an all ages, beginner to natural dye friendly event! Come drop in and learn about natural dye.
