STUDIO 24: Weaving Journal Workshop In-Person
Artist and CU Boulder Assistant Professor, Steven Frost, leads this workshop, guiding participants in using mini-tapestry looms to begin their own weaving journal practice. Participants will have access to a wide range of materials and will learn how to draft and create weavings using simple laser-cut tapestry looms that are small enough to take anywhere. Each participant will take home a mini-loom, complete with tools and an instructional zine.
Craft Studio is dedicated to exploring the joy of making things by hand. Classes will invite participants to slow down, engage deeply, and rediscover the beauty of tactile creation. From weaving and woodworking to natural dyeing and paper arts, Craft Studio celebrates time honored techniques that foster mindful creativity and meaningful community.
