STUDIO 24: Bojagi Workshop: Meet, Stitch, and Be In-Person
Learn the art of traditional Korean hand-stitching with textile artist Hana Kim (김하나) while creating a Bojagi (보자기) Mobile. In this hands-on workshop participants will create delicate Oksa Silk Mobiles — graceful, lightweight pieces that gently move with the air and capture light beautifully. "Oksa" Korean silk is a unique fabric made when two or more silkworms spin their cocoons together, naturally forming its distinctive slubbed texture.
