Dia de muertos - Alebrijes workshop with CHAC In-Person

Los alebrijes son pequeñas esculturas de criaturas imaginarias y fantásticas. Sirven como amuletos o como acompañantes entre sueños.
Acompáñanos a crear un alebrije y participa en la instalación del altar comunitario en honor del Día de Muertos. El colectivo de artistas CHAC nos guiará en la decoración de un alebrije que podrás llevar a casa.
Alebrijes are small sculptures that evoke fantastic creatures and celebrate imagination.They can follow you in dreams and serve as home amulets.
Join the Chicano Humanities Arts Council in honoring the "Día de Muertos" Mexican tradition by painting your own guardian creature and contributing to the community altar at NoBo Library.
