BoulderWrites! Harnessing Writing as a Tool for Community, Connection and Transformation - JLF Colorado: International Literature Festival

BoulderWrites! Harnessing Writing as a Tool for Community, Connection and Transformation - JLF Colorado: International Literature Festival

Help shape the future of writing in Boulder through this generative discussion! Writing is a notoriously isolated practice, but it doesn’t have to be. In this session, participants will have the opportunity to practice collective writing, and will generate ideas by reflecting on these two questions: How does our writing transform when we prioritize and integrate community throughout the process? How do our communities transform when we write together? The results of this discussion will guide the development of a vision statement for BoulderWrites, the library’s new public writing center. Workshop facilitated by Juan Jimenez and Emily Reynolds.
