Peacebuilding Workshop: Engage and Connect: Peace Through Active Communication - JLF Colorado: International Literature Festival

Peacebuilding Workshop: Engage and Connect: Peace Through Active Communication - JLF Colorado: International Literature Festival

In an era of polarization and rapid change, meaningful communication is more important—and more challenging—than ever. Whether at work, at home, or in our communities, we often struggle to connect across differences and navigate difficult conversations.

Drawing on Charles Duhigg’s Supercommunicators, as well as other communication science, this talk explores the praxis behind deep listening, emotional attunement, and conversational alignment. You’ll learn practical strategies to become a more effective communicator, build trust, and foster understanding—even when disagreements run deep. If you’ve ever wished you could handle tough conversations with more clarity, empathy, and impact, this session is for you. With Randall Butler and Cassidy Murphy.
