Less is Lost: The Art of Being Out of Place - JLF Colorado: International Literature Festival

Less is Lost: The Art of Being Out of Place - JLF Colorado: International Literature Festival

Andrew Sean Greer, novelist and short story writer, received the 2018 Pulitzer Prize for his novel, Less. The awkward and lovable protagonist, Arthur Less, returns in Less Is Lost—a zigzagging adventure across the wild, wild West. This profound and joyous novel explores the enigmas of American life, the riddles of love, and the stories we tell along the way. In a world of misrule and chaos, Greer reminds us that disorientation can feel oddly familiar—especially for someone who is often out of place. A session of conversation and readings with Arsen Kashkashian.
