Special Horror Screening: "The Blair Witch Project" and "The Curse of the Blair Witch" In-Person
Join us for a special October screening of the horror classic, and its' newly re-released companion "documentary!"
"The Blair Witch Project" (R, 82 mins) follows three student filmmakers setting out into the forest to film a documentary on a legend known as The Blair Witch. As they become lost in the woods, an unseen evil begins to stalk and harass them. They soon realize that what they are filming is not a legend, but their own descent into a horrifying encounter with the supernatural.
"The Curse of the Blair Witch" is a 44 minute long "mockumentary" made by the original filmmakers as a universe expansion and marketing material for the film. It was originally aired as a TV special, but has recently been re-released as a bonus feature and digital exclusive. This excellent mockumentary serves as a terrific and unsettling companion piece to the feature film.
Free snacks and soft drinks will be provided. We will play "Curse of the Blair Witch" first, beginning at 6:30.
