Mountain Lions: Allies in the Wild. Colorado Cougars: Friends, Not Foes In-Person
Mountain lions are devoted and affectionate family members. They are sentient beings who feel pain and happiness. Mountain lions are ecological engineers and umbrella species that help to conserve many others. They increase an ecosystem’s health and biodiversity. This presentation is based on peer-reviewed scientific papers to increase the public’s understanding of mountain lions, which are also called pumas and cougars.
