TEDxBoulderSalon: Affordable Housing in Boulder In-Person
“Boulder has a housing crisis.” We hear it on repeat. But what does that really mean? The city has made real progress in delivering affordable homes across income levels, yet misconceptions still dominate the conversation.
Four housing leaders—Jill Grano, Danica Powell, Jeremy Durham, and Bill Holicky—take the stage to challenge Boulder’s housing myths.
In a candid and informal conversation, they’ll probe the reality of the housing supply, what “affordable” means, whether the “barbell problem” is exaggerated, and how culture, zoning, and political will shape the perceptions and reality of the problem and its potential solution.
This event is organized by a community partner and hosted by the Boulder Public Library.
Parking is available in both the Canyon and Arapahoe lots. To reach the theater from the Arapahoe lot, you can cross the creek using the exterior bridge.
