Italian Film Festival: "Le Assaggiatrici" In-Person

Enjoy the local premieres of recent Italian films at the 2026 Italian Film Festival USA of Boulder. All films shown in original language with English subtitles. 

Tonight is "Le Assaggiatrici." (The Tasters). 1943. Rosa, fleeing bombed-out Berlin, reaches her in-laws and discovers the peaceful village hides a secret: within the nearby forest is Hitler’s headquarters. Rosa is taken, along with other young women from the village, to taste the food prepared for the Führer. Based on the book At the Wolf's Table by Rosella Postorino. Unrated, 123 minutes.
