Acompaña a Luna Cultura a crear bellos diseños en madera y aprende a utilizar las Cotadoras Láser del Maker Space. En esta sesión aprenderemos aspectos de seguridad, uso de un programa sencillo de diseño y cómo transferir un dibujo a mano y convertirlo en una hermosa pieza grabada en madera. 

 

Este programa se llevara a cabo en españo e inglés.

 

Menores de 14 años deben estar acompañados por un adulto responsable. 

 

Todas las personas deben firmar un formulario de Reconocimiento de Riesgos y Exención de Responsabilidad antes de entrar al espacio.  

 

Learn Laser Cutting Technology


Join Luna Cultura to create beautiful wood designs and learn how to use the Maker Space's Laser Cutters. In this session, we'll learn safety tips, how to use a simple design program, and how to transfer a hand-drawn image and turn it into a beautiful woodcut.


This program will be conducted in Spanish and English.


Children under 14 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.


All participants must sign a Risk Acknowledgment and Liability Waiver form before entering the space.

This class will be at the BLDG 61 Makerspace in the Main Library. Here are directions and parking information for the Main Library. Our Makerspace classes often have long waitlists. We sincerely hope that you can attend, but if you are for some reason unable to, please cancel your registration ASAP so that one of the people on our waiting list can take your place in the class. You can cancel by going back to your confirmation email and following the link. 

All makerspace patrons are expected to adhere to makerspace and library rules and policies. All users and visitors must agree to and sign the Acknowledgment of Risk and Release Form each visit before entering the space.
