Romanian National Day Celebration In-Person
The Honorary Romanian Consulate of CO presents a celebration ofGreat Union Day!
This national holiday commemorates the 1918 reunification of Transylvania back into Romania, as well as the prior unification of the provinces of Banat, Basarabia, and Bucovina. Bring the whole family to celebrate with songs and folk dances performed by theRomanian Choir and Hora Romaneasca Dancers.
Throughout the day we will have short videos and presentations about our beautiful country, and our old culture. You can also sample "cozonac", a traditional sweet bread and other yummy appetizers!
Free admission.
This event is organized by a community partner and hosted by the Boulder Public Library.
