BLDG 61: Woodshop Basics - Make a Wood Cutting Board In-Person
Get started learning how to shape wood in this Woodworking Basics class. You’ll get hands on experience with several tools such as a bandsaw, drill press, router and sander. This is the perfect intro class to get you started in woodworking! This month's focus is how to make a simple wood cutting board.
The Woodworking Basics class is designed to get you into the shop, learn how to safely use several tools, and make something you're proud of. Please only sign up to take the Woodworking Basics class once, as the fundamental skills are the same in every class.
No experience necessary, all skill levels welcome. Age 18 & older. Registration required.

This class will be at the BLDG 61 Makerspace in the Main Library. Here are directions and parking information for the Main Library. Our Makerspace classes often have long waitlists. We sincerely hope that you can attend, but if you are for some reason unable to, please cancel your registration ASAP so that one of the people on our waiting list can take your place in the class.
