Warping the Future: an augmented lecture In-Person
Warping the Future: How craft led to the digital world as we know it is a lecture that explores the connection between the history of weaving and the history of computing, told through objects made available in augmented reality(AR). Based on the homonymous exhibition produced and curated by the duo in 2021, this learning experience highlights the decisive role of women and underrepresented communities in this story, while allowing attendees to take a closer look at these historical tools.
This event is organized by a community partner and hosted by the Boulder Public Library.
