STUDIO 24: What to Consider Before Becoming a Beekeeper

STUDIO 24: What to Consider Before Becoming a Beekeeper In-Person

Thinking about keeping bees? Beekeeping is a fascinating and rewarding hobby, but it comes with plenty of challenges. Many people worry about things like getting stung, swarming bees, how to keep hives healthy, or whether they have enough space in their yard. Others wonder about the costs, the time commitment, or how to handle challenges like pests and changing weather.

In this informative presentation by Community Beekeeper, Tzuria Malpica, you’ll get honest answers to these common concerns and a clear overview of what’s really involved in caring for honeybees. We’ll talk about what equipment you’ll need, and how to plan ahead so you can start your journey with confidence. By attending, you’ll gain practical tips to get you started as you decide if beekeeping is right for you.
